Sometimes creating space to live our best lives involves more than clearing out a closet or organizing a pantry.

Sometimes it means quieting our minds and finding relief from the overabundance of people-made stimuli.

Bringing people into contact with their heart intelligence…

Forest bathing is a practice that supports health and wellness through guided immersions in forests and other natural environments to promote the well-being of both people and the land. It is inspired by shinrin-yoku, the Japanese practice of forest bathing. In forest bathing, people spend time in forested areas to enhance health, wellness, and happiness.

The paradox of effortless effort…

During forest bathing we are guided through a clearly defined sequence of invitations to slow down, allow the senses to open, and experience the environment to deepen the reciprocal relationship between participants and the land which supports the wholeness and well-being of both. The practice of forest bathing is an opportunity to reconnect with nature through our senses. All we have to do is accept the invitation, Mother Nature does the rest.

These slow walks are typically one to two miles and are tailored for all ages and physical conditions.

“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.”

~ John Muir, the Mountains of California
